Long Cropping Raspberry Fruit Canes Collection
Our specially selected raspberry canes are propagated from certified stock and grown in well-drained, sandy soil. This ensures strong plants with well-developed root systems, ready to produce abundant fruiting canes in their first full season.
This collection includes 18 canes, 6 of each variety:
-
Raspberry Malling Juno (Early Season)
Very early to harvest, producing medium to large berries with a firm texture and deliciously sweet flavour, perfect for eating fresh. The spine-free canes are leafy, easy to handle and prune, with well-presented fruit that makes picking simple. Cropping runs from early to late June, or earlier if grown under cover. Known for excellent disease resistance. Bred by East Malling Research. -
Raspberry Octavia (Mid Season)
A reliable mid-season variety producing large, firm berries with excellent flavour and keeping quality. Well-suited to extending the raspberry season into August, it shows good resistance to common diseases and performs consistently well in a range of soils. -
Raspberry Polka (Late Season)
Bred by Dr Jane Danek, Polka is a recent addition with large, juicy berries boasting a mouth-watering sweet flavour. Crop yields can reach up to 2.5kg per cane. Cropping from July through October, the virtually spine-free canes offer easy handling and good disease resistance.
Floricane varieties fruit on canes produced in the previous year, while Primocane varieties produce fruit on current season growth, ensuring a long and satisfying raspberry harvest.
